Or how to reconnect with writing and foster connection

On one side, there are those who haven’t written a card in a long time, and on the other, those who haven’t received one in ages! This workshop simply reconciles the two: each participant took their finest pen, or their ballpoint pen, as long as it worked, and wrote a postcard to someone they didn’t know. What to write on this card? We suggested a few writing prompts to avoid writer’s block – a memory, an encounter, a dream, perhaps even all three? – and the cards were quickly filled. We collected 80 cards at the end of the workshop. They were distributed to isolated elderly individuals, residing in a care facility, likely “until the end.” These cards brought back memories, but above all, the power of intention, that of the person who wrote “for each of them.” These cards will be distributed gradually, to punctuate the days, bring new stories, and a touch of humanity.

Letter to a Stranger Workshop – practical information – duration: 1 hour – location: at your premises or a third-party venue – the cards, collected by us, are then distributed to isolated elderly individuals. Contact for more information
