Adapted visits

For the third consecutive year, the City of Paris entrusted us with mobilising and facilitating guided visits for people living with psychosocial disabilities, on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of Nuit Blanche. Once we had got over the shock of realising that we were half our current age at the first Nuit Blanche, we set to work to mobilise associations, create adapted visit routes—both in terms of mobility and content—and draft a mediation document in easy-to-read French. There was a great deal of enthusiasm this year: two visits were fully booked, with enough additional registrations to launch a third. The mobilisation of associations around this recurring event is beginning to take root.

The artistic stars were with us that evening, in the Jardin des Délices in Paris, as everyone came, everyone stayed, and no one wanted these visits to end. In addition, a booklet in simplified French (FALC) made it possible to discover 8 works across the three routes. Nuit Blanche reaffirms its commitment to making art accessible to all, and we are delighted to contribute. With Paloma Moin, lecturer.
