{"id":6547,"date":"2023-07-20T14:44:08","date_gmt":"2023-07-20T12:44:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cequemesyeuxontvu.com\/origami-and-postcards\/"},"modified":"2026-06-03T18:22:59","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T16:22:59","slug":"origami-and-postcards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cequemesyeuxontvu.com\/en\/origami-and-postcards\/","title":{"rendered":"Origami and Postcards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/c6ee64a01d.url-de-test.ws\/pour-vos-salaries\/projets-ad-hoc\/\">&lt;- view offer<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two New Formats<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Engaging 240 employees in 45-minute workshops centered around a meaningful action\u2014that was the challenge we took on last June with Mutuelle G\u00e9n\u00e9rale, in partnership with ESSCAPADE.\nIn groups of 40, employees were able to choose their preferred workshop: creating a garland using Japanese paper folding\u2014origami\u2014or writing a postcard intended for an unknown recipient.\n\nThe objective is simple:\n<\/p><ul>\n \t<li>Pour les guirlandes, c\u2019est la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019un rideaux d\u2019origamis destin\u00e9 \u00e0 un centre associatif pour y faire entrer un peu de couleur.<\/li>\n \t<li>Pour les cartes postales, c\u2019est l\u2019occasion, pour une personne \u00e2g\u00e9e isol\u00e9e, de recevoir un courrier adress\u00e9 qui parle d\u2019un moment doux, d\u2019un souvenir ou d\u2019une rencontre extraordinaire et qui permet une parenth\u00e8se.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hung the origami at the CHU \u00c9toile of the Aurore Association, which provides housing for families, and the feedback was joyful: &#8220;we will be able to organize workshops with the families, it&#8217;s simple, fun, easy, and it brings color! Thank you!&#8221; &#8211; Charles M., social worker.\n\nWe distributed the postcards in the geriatric unit of Paul Brousse Hospital in Villejuif. This is a care and support service for isolated elderly individuals at the end of life, managed by the Aurore Association. Some individuals never receive visitors, and therefore never receive mail. The feedback was moving: &#8220;it&#8217;s beautiful, it comforts me, and it brings back memories&#8221; &#8220;I will read it again&#8221; &#8211; patients \/ &#8220;it&#8217;s the idea of exchange, and everyone finds a point, an element that reminds them of something.
