This facility, a former hospital, welcomes people in situations of extreme hardship who require care. The spaces are somewhat empty, and the walls are sometimes dirty. Colour changes everything! And bringing people &#8220;from the outside in&#8221; is always positive, according to the centre\u2019s director: it creates a disruption in their daily lives, enables contact, a conversation over coffee, and then from one workshop to the next, mistrust fades and a relationship of trust is gradually established. Some residents pick up a paintbrush and take part; others pull up a chair and watch the transformation.
